Made by Kay in the 1940's for Sears. This archtop plays nicely and sounds really good! It has a lot of finish checking and a few spots that the finish has chipped off. We reset the neck, heat pressed the neck, did some fretwork on the upper frets and glued some body seams. There had been some fretwork done in the past and the tuners have been changed. There are also some letter stickers by a soundhole from a previous owner. There is tarnish on the original tailpiece. Overall, this guitar is in very good condition and comes with a chip case.
