Industry standard vintage Revox A77 reel to reel tape recorder, quality made and designed in Switzerland. The A77 are used by the most discriminating Audiophiles and Recording Studios. They have the incomparable Swiss Revox design, craftsmanship, attention to detail, parts quality, reliability, sound quality and performance. This A77 was working when last used, but has been stored inside a climate controlled environment for over 25 years. It does power up, play, rewind and fast forward functions all operate. This has the fastest rewind and fast forward of any deck I have experienced. When in the play mode, there is a clicking sound inside the unit that corresponds to the speed of the reels. This is all the testing that was done. I had to make a power cord out of an old extension cord to test it. It does not come with the power cord. After market power cords are available online. It is in good original cosmetic condition as well. There are few small nicks, dings, scuffs, one small on the bottom back corner and the plastic front is just barely starting to pull away from the wood front, nothing too serious, just wanted to mention it. It is all original, lots and lots of potential. All the motors are direct drive and the only belt is the tape counter. These are known for their excellent sound quality and performance. It will handle 7" and 10" reels. It will need some restoration/repair/lubrication, etc, as it has been stored and not used for a very long time. The shipping cost includes safe packing, insurance, prompt shipping and tracking number. Buy with confidence, see my feedback. Good listening, SonnY :) See the impressive specs below: PS: It is multivoltage switchable.
