Guild M75 Bluesbird from the early/mid 70's
This is a great player's guitar from when guitars were made the old fashioned way. It's seen some good times, some hard times, and probably some weird times. If you're looking for a guitar to put in a case in your rec room, thanks for looking, but this is not the guitar for you.
The good: no breaks, plenty of life left on the frets, sounds and plays great, currently setup for 10's. The guild humbuckers sound awesome. original tuners, stays in tune very well. original knobs, pickup rings, bridge, tailpiece, etc. as shown in the pics. also an original guild case.
The non good:

The non good:
- someone painted the back and sides and neck with black paint (with a brush?) but I don't see evidence of any breaks. you can just make out the serial number.
- Pickups are period correct, but when I got it it had 2 Dimarzios in it. the Pickup rings show extra holes from those lovely modifications.
- extra toggle switches of mystery were installed but only one works currently, as a kill switch.
- wiring could probably be redone to have the pups do the out of phase thing that i think the one original switch was supposed to do, i would do that if i were keeping it...
- lots of character; i mean, nicks, scratches, history, on the body front, which was never refinished.
- the case has seen better days; the top split from the sides and is currently being aided by some gaffer tape. functional and all, but not the prettiest.
