Serious offers welcome.
Downsizing my rig due to leaving the studio business and focusing on the record business instead.
This is a nice esoteric piece to add to a recording/mixing studio.
People say these sound like a blend of a Neve and API. The Hammond input transformers are pretty much the juice in this desk. It’s loud and can go up to 75dB.
Restored from the previous owner to a new power supply and changed the necessary capacitors on all channels and bulbs.
I had the faceplates and fader caps made as well. I’m sure acetone should remove the AWR logo if you want to take off. Not sure where I left old face plates for channels so those won’t be included unless I end up finding.
The 10 EQs included are aggressive and can go narrow or wide.
This console came out of the CBC radio from 1975 and even has a verified service sticker inside.
The monitoring was not restored since it was too antiquated and I use modern monitoring system.
Direct outs was a project I wanted to do next. I have no time to get it done
As of now the line inputs/ outputs/sends/returns are only available via long frame patch bay and bay works as intended.
I’m in no hurry to sell but ready to let it go to a production studio that can take more advantage of the amount of channels available.
Serious offers considered. I will help add this on a skid for proper shipping.
Thanks for looking.
