For sale: one used Elger from the 1960s or 1970s. This model was one of two custom built by the company; the other went to Doc Watson (see photos for email from company founder Harry Rosen). This guitar is NOT FUNCTIONAL. It may need a neck re-set, bridge work, bracing redone, neck work, etc. It is being sold as-is, no guarantees it can be functional again, simply for you to try to repair or use for parts. Extra tuner holes have been drilled. The top has cracks and the neck is separating from the body. Unsure of status of neck/truss rod. The back may be solid Brazilian Rosewood, not sure, but the sides are definitely laminate. I repeat again, this is a project or MAY NOT BE SALVAGEABLE; I don't want any confusion or complaints after purchase from someone assuming otherwise.
Shipping will be via UPS and the unit will be double-boxed or shipping inside a chipboard case and boxed at my discretion.
