This Taylor Empire Select 714ce combines the power and character of Lutz Spruce with the warmth and bottom-end that East Indian Rosewood is known for.

Lutz Spruce tops are a natural combination of Sitka Spruce and Engelmann Spruce.  Like old-growth Adirondack spruce, Lutz offers a powerful response with the added elements of Engelmann Spruce.

AA Rosewood is the straightest and highest quality Rosewood.  As a back and sides, it offers some of the most classic tones in modern music history.  Players will immediately notice the big bottom-end, sparkling top end and scooped mids.  The complex overtones add to the demand and mystique of Rosewood.  Singer/songwriters tend to love rosewood back and sides due to the scooped mids–allowing their voice to naturally fill this space.
