This is the 1998 Ibanez JEM7V-WH Electric Guitar.
25.5" scale. 43mm nut width. 7 lbs 14 oz.
.74"-.84" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
This JEM is a monster, one of the earlier models with an ebony fingerboard...oh, and it was one of Steve's personal guitars!!!
This is the JEM Steve Vai had used for practicing in hotels while on tour.
As a lifelong Vai fan it's wild to think what classic Vai licks were played on this guitar, not to mention what new ideas were created.
In 2000 Steve took this out of his collection and sent it to his childhood home on Long Island for keeping those legendary chops up while visiting family.
And, as you can see from the pics, Steve put in some serious time on this guitar, all the marks and wear are from Steve himself.
Signed twice by Steve for his nephew.
There is some cool case candy as well- a lesson sheet, strap, and picks.
We left this guitar as Vai himself did, but, of course we can do a full set up on it prior to shipping upon request.
