This is the fabled Gretsch BST “Beast.” It was only made from 1979-1981 and represents Gretsch’s foray into solid body guitars. Manufactured in 1979, this guitar is equipped with original two humbuckers, producing growl and sass but going mellow on the neck pickup, thanks to the mahogany body. Most of the hardware is original, but saddles and toggle have been replaced. It shows some character wear and tear, evidence of being well loved and played for decades, but nothing that interferes with the beauty of this vintage instrument.
