SALE! Fender CS “Clarence White” Glaser B Bender/Ron Ellis/Spitfire Tribute

Sort of putting feelers out - may decide to remove from this forum and the listing on reverb….

Here is the story on this guitar. It has been really the only guitar I’ve played for the past year. So killer. Feels great, plays great. This guitar started life as a WildWood CS shop 58 tele (See receipt and the shop floor traveler spec sheet). This is a relic’d guitar from the custom shop. It’s been wearing away in a cool way over the past year. Frets are in tip top shape despite being my #1 the past year.

I sent the guitar to Joe Glaser and team and had them put in a b bender. Also added a 3 string tree to relieve break angle tension.

I then bought a Ron Ellis 50’s strat neck pickup and 50’s broadcaster style bridge.

Felt it needed a better pickguard, so ordered a Spitfire Tort.

And of course, the Frankfurt sticker on the back. (I know Clarence had it on the front, but i only wanted to nod that way).

I’m into this guitar for way over 5k. Selling as I’ve been playing less bender type stuff, and while it’s been a great and fun guitar, I have been leaning into a ES-335 more and more lately Thought it would be great to get it into the hands of a Clarence fan (or B bender fan in general).

Note that this is a relic’d guitar, while lovingly maintained is still a relic - so it has the faded, scratches, etc that are typical of this style. Wildwood is selective on their guitars, and I think this is a beautiful guitar. All sales are final on that point.

This thing twangs and it rocks. Comes with a Dano gig bag and the original tweed custom shop case, although due to the Glaser B Bender, it does not fit well in the case.
