Straight out of the box to you and it's the luck of the draw as to whether the instrument plays well or not.  Every beginning guitarist needs the advantage of playing a guitar that is easy to play.  I've set this guitar up to play like the ones I own.  Easy to play.   It makes a huge difference.

 It has a new fresh set of strings.  I've adjusted the action, lowering  the strings for very easy smooth playing, oiled the fingerboard and cleaned and polished the guitar and bag.
