Tungsten Amplification One Knob Fuzz w/Bias Control 2023 Black Hammertone

This is a one knob Fuzz Face pedal built in the spirit of the European two transistor fuzzes of the 1960’s. Not an exact clone of anything, this silicon fuzz incorporates ideas from the Fuzz Face, Colorsound One Knob Fuzz and Vox Tone Bender. It is constructed on vero board using carbon composition resistors, Mod and Sprague electrolytic capacitors, Mallory 150 output capacitor, silver mica capacitors, two NOS National Semiconductor BC238 transistors, Switchcraft jacks, Alpha pots, Lumberg DC jack and Gorva footswitch. This is all enclosed in a hand drilled and hand painted Black Hammertone trapezoidal box.

This Fuzz has a volume knob (fuzz maxed out internally) and a Bias knob that controls the voltage going to the second transistor. This allows you dial in all sorts of textures from wall of fuzz, to Velcro, to gated synth/video game sounds.

I am hand voicing these fuzzes to each individual pair of transistors. No two are exactly alike. Requires 9VDC Center Negative power supply (not included).
