Tele twangers, listen up! We have for sale, a parts-built Telecaster with a Rosewood neck mated to a premium, lightly figured Ash Body. This guitar is the perfect mix of vintage and modern. The butterscotch finish with the black bakelite guard is a classic pairing. The six-saddle bridge adds an element of modern adjustability for that perfect intonation that you just can’t get with a classic three-saddle tele bridge.
We’re not sure what the pickups are, but they sound fantastic. The bridge pickup gets a great, muscled-up tele tone without being overly brittle. The neck pickup has a great snap to it that can be warmed up by rolling down the tone knob a hair.
Topping it off is a gorgeous Rosewood Warmoth neck that just feels right. The profile is a slim D shape that plays fast when you want to, yet chords play with ease. Contrasting the dark rosewood is an eye-catching maple skunk stripe for an added flair. The neck plate has a custom shop stamp on it, but rest assured, you won’t need to spend custom shop money to add this workhorse to your stable.
This guitar is in great shape with only a few small chips and dings in the usual spots (edge of the body, edge of the neck pocket). It’s been professionally setup with new strings set to play low and comfy. The frets have been polished, the board has been conditioned, and the electronics have been cleaned. A tweed Fender hardshell G&G case is included for safe transportation and storage.
