I got this guitar 25 years ago, at which point it received a neck reset,, and for the next decade or so, it was my wifes go to guitar. She has since gone to gypsy guitars, and it has been languishing in the closet. In preparation to part with it, we just had a second neck reset done, it plays, and sounds wonderfully, as one would expect from a mid 40s scalloped braced ebony rod model. There are several Repaired tight humidity related back cracks., which i’ve done my best to show.. The guitar has a number of bumps and bruises and Play wear, but is otherwise completely original, and unmodified, plays and sounds like one would expect from an ad top prewar Martin, which is why we kept it around for so long. But it’s time to have a new home.
