The Yamaha Silver Trumpet is an intermediate level trumpet with a yellow brass body and silver-plated finish. Silver plating is a finish that coats the horn in a thin layer of pure silver, which changes the color of the instrument and protects it from tarnish and corrosion. Silver plate is thinner than lacquer, so it doesn't dampen the resonance of the horn as much. This instrument comes in a case with mouthpiece and oil.
