Thiel CS 2.3 Coherent Source Loudspeakers late 1990s - Dark Cherry

From my dad's collection, a lovely pair of audiophile speakers in very good condition and working perfectly. Dad used these daily for years, and recently replaced them with a pair of Vandersteens...

For the most part the speakers are in excellent shape and are super clean. As illustrated in the photos, one of the cabinets got more sunlight than the other so there's been some color shifting that is only noticeable when they're close together. There's also a light scratch on the top of one cabinet and some very minor edge dings consistent with their age (all can most likely be buffed out). Included for free is a pair of handmade perforated sheet metal covers with black wood frames, which were used to prevent cats and grandkids* from damaging the grillcloth and drivers.

Since the boxes are no longer around (and because they're heavy AF), I don't want to ship these and am offering for local pickup/meetup ONLY in the LA/OC area of Southern California. I'm happy to give the buyer a one-week trial period so they can use them in their own system to make sure the speakers are a good fit.
