Jazz Master Series speak with distinction with bowed profile tapering to paper thin edge. Rides deliver rich articulate layers of tone and smooth warm wash layers nicely under crisp stick definition. Hats deliver crisp clear and articulate sounds. Riveted chinas are cutting with thin, trashy, dark sounds and are rideable. With the right amount of finesse these cymbals can be explosive when needed, are sensitive enough for a jazz trio, but dug in and they can carry a big band through the shout chorus.
