So I’m debating about whether I should put together this NRFB project I’ve been planning for 4 months.
I have literally every piece available for it but am simultaneously piecing together a Jag and a Tele.
I’ll let Reverb buyers decide whether to keep it or sell it. I still have to cut a pickguard, etc. Just not sure I have the time.
So here’s the scoop:
I ordered this NRFB body from KNE guitars in California. It was finished in a bit less than 2 months. It’s made of Alder, finished in General Finishes black milk paint. It went on flawlessly and the body is extremely smooth.
It’s routed for input jack, Vol, Tone, AND pickup selector on the bottom bout (I hate it when builders put the selector right where your hand strums).
Note the tiny little divot on the front of the body (photo with my finger pointing to it).
The body cost me $250. now that it’s been sanded and finished, let’s see if I can’t clear $300.
Yes, it comes with the strap buttons AND the black plastic backplate (to cover the electronics).
The neck is for a Strat/JM-shaped pocket.
If you’re interested in other parts to go with this, lemme know. Here’s a list:
Railhammer bridge humbucker (metallic black)
Lindy Fralin neck humbucker (chrome cover)
Wilkinson half-Tele bridge
Pots/caps/neck plate & screws
