Built by hand, one at a time by the master luthiers at the ESP Custom Shop in Japan, the ESP Original Series Snapper-7 takes a traditional guitar shape and supercharges it into a hot-rodded extended range instrument for all high-performance music styles from metal to prog to jazz and beyond. A seven-string guitar at 25.5” scale, the ESP Snapper-7 combines the ultimate level of build quality with the finest woods and components.
It offers bolt-on construction with an alder body, a one-piece thin U-shaped maple neck, and a Honduras rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and dot inlays. The ESP Snapper-7 includes an unbleached bone nut, Gotoh locking tuners, and an ESP Flicker-III tremolo.
Components on this guitar also include two Seymour Duncan SSL-5-7 custom staggered single-coil pickups, an overwound medium-output pickup that offers a great balance between increased output and classic tonal character. The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan SH-14-7, a high output humbucker with an even response that works for all genres and playing styles. Controls on the ESP Snapper-7 include volume, tone (with a push-pull knob that allows for capacitance selection), a 5-way pickup selector, and a mini-toggle switch that offers a pickup mix variation for a wealth of tones.
Includes deluxe hardshell case.
