Tokai Springy Sound ST80 1978 Lacquer Tobacco Sunburst

Tokai Springy Sound ST80. It is extremely hard to find these in such nice condition! Two-piece ash body, lacquer tobacco sunburst finish, E-stamp pickups, one-piece maple V neck. The saddles and pickguard are replaced with Fender, the tone/volume knobs and pickup covers have been replaced, & electronics upgraded. Pickguard is a one-piece Fender. The original Tokai saddles, knobs, and electronics are included (see image). The back plate has been cut for easy access to tremolo. Someone changed the slide decal on headstock to Fender, which happened frequently on older Tokai's. The guitar plays and feels like an old Fender. This is the ultimate "lawsuit" guitar
The 80 stamped into top of fretboard, inside the body, and in neck pocket all indicate ST80 top Springy Sound model, with only gold hardware ST100 costing more. Ships in pro hard case. Any questions, just ask.
