





















Vintage Gibson SG Custom 3-Pickup with Maestro Vibrola in Alpine White finish made in 1964 with Original Marigold Interior Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard. Equipped with a set of original gold covered Gibson Patent Sticker Humbuckers in the neck, middle and bridge position. Controlled by 2-volume, 2-tone knobs and a 3-way toggle switch with original pots and wiring dating to 1964. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12” radius with a slim taper neck profile. The hardware is comprised of original gold Gibson waffleback tuning machines, a bone nut, an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with nylon saddles and top hat reflector knobs with a 4-ply white/black pickguard.
This vintage guitar is one of the cleanest/ well kept examples with have come across to date and has all its original components right Down to the case and case key! At some point in its life the pickup cavities were routed for clearance but done cleanly.
This instrument is in overall excellent condition for its age, with very light signs of play. It has Light oxidation/ light wear of the gold hardware, it has a few light marks on the body, minimal light checking on the body/neck, some light binding shrinkage and a few finish chips on the head stocks top rear edge. Most of the marks and checking can be seen under direct light (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings and includes original hard shell case which is small pebble with marigold interior.
