This is a set of reeds taken out of a Hohner Rayo accordion. The factory tuning was kind of rough and the reed blocks had been factory drilled above the highest reeds to make them easier to tune, but makes the reeds sound breathy and weak.
I blocked the holes, adjusted the reed chambers and rotated the reeds to get a faster response. This was in addition to tuning and gapping the reeds. A couple of poorer preforming reeds were replaced with German reeds.
These wit fit any Rayo, but I believe the hole spacing is different than the Panther , but the will fit the Hohner classic with very little modification. Tuning is GCF with the standard 15 cent vibrato.
