A lovely little European guitar from the mid-19th century now at least 150 years old; probably French or Italian, maybe German, in beautiful condition. Lightly flamed maple back and sides, spruce top, very early-style pin bridge. The finish is 100% original everywhere and there are no top cracks or back cracks. Ebony bridge pins with pearl inlays, appear to be original to the guitar; one fret missing. The original tuning pegs have been replaced by early-20th century patent pegs. There is a small puncture in one side near the heel and one back brace has poked through a wee bit; otherwise, in remarkable condition, and a lovely little guitar literally from centuries gone by. We have not strung this guitar up; offered as is, no case. $1295
