This very clean Olympic White Telecaster was probably built in late 69 or early 70. The usual features and codes that tell us the year are ambiguous. Serial number says 70. Neck date code says 67 but that's kind of common with "new" neck codes that started in 69. Look it up. Pots are 66-also common in later guitars. Call it what you want, it's a great player and will fill your desire for a vintage Tele for less than you might expect. What's wrong with it? It was routed for a mini humbucker. The neck pickup is now mounted through the guard instead of under it probably due to the depth of the rout. The frets have been replaced with medium jumbos. The bridge cover is a repro. Everything else is stock. Finish has yellowed a bit but is in excellent condition. Case is original hard shell with the no tail logo.
