Twilight Zone Electronics Super Fuzz

This pedal aims to recreate The vintage Univox Super Fuzz guitar pedals. The circuitry is exact, and there are no changes, other than modern components for less noise and more precision, but the circuit design is exactly the same as the original. Germanium diodes are used in this pedal, just as in the original.

Since the circuit design is vintage, it is a bit noisy at full gain. Nothing unbearable, but definitely some normal noise.

Quite honestly, this is the best octave up fuzz circuit design that’s ever come into existence. The sound is just right, and all that I would expect from an octave up fuzz. Raunchy, screaming, glitchy, octave fuzz thats useful for rock, blues, doom, metal, you name it.

It’s simple too, one control for the saturation, and one for the volume, and one switch to instantly transform the tone.

Feel free to ask any questions. I have demos of each pedal on guitar. If you’re a bassist, and want a demo, let me know and I can make one for you. I am a bassist as well as guitarist, and use all my pedals on bass. They all work equally well on bass as they do on guitar.

These are all handmade by me in California. I am a 21 year old college student studying electrical engineering. They are sold as is. I have to do all my painting and coating outdoors so naturally, the finishes may be imperfect, but I strive to get them as good as possible. Occasionally there will be a speck of dirt or dust under the finish, it’s really difficult to prevent it as there are trees and lots of wind in my area.

Also please note that I only include 2 screws on the backing plate for each pedal. You only need two, and it helps me identify which pedals are mine, and also is my signature look.

My pedals are not designed for use with batteries, only by an external DC power supply. If requested, I can possibly make custom pedals that fit batteries but they will be one size up of a box to accommodate for a battery. All pedals are center negative 9v unless stated. Never use anything over 9v as you can blow everything in the power rail of the circuit. I do not offer free fixes if one accidentally fries the circuit; as it’s a pretty extensive repair and every component in the power line will need replacing.

Almost every pedal is unique, and I do my best to never make the same pedal twice. Sometimes it happens but 95% of the pedals I make are all unique one offs.

Electronically and function wise, they are always tested for a while, and never sold faulty. If one ever stops working, feel free to message me and I will either fix it, or replace the entire circuit, unless it looks like it’s been attempted to be modded, or has been abused more than necessary.

Once a pedal is bought and out of my hands, I will not be providing refunds. I will do what I can to trace down packages, but ultimately there’s only so much I can do.

I also do not accept returns. These pedals help me afford food, housing, tuition and more. I am one person, and cannot afford to give refunds. I have good customer service when it comes to repairs, so feel free to hit me up.
