Rigoutat Professional Full-Conservatory Oboe For Sale!

One of several professional oboes we are offering for sale. This is a vintage Rigoutat wooden oboe.It is in very good condition:  cleaned, oiled, and new pads about a year ago, and just back from the local shop which tuned it up and said that it plays well for them.  (Note that this is a local music store, not one of the “oboe specialists,” and that while they are very experienced, the oboe might require some additional adjustments if you are a better player than the owner of the company is--which is likely—or if the FedEx guy hits lots of bumps on the way.)  The wood has a very short, sealed crack in the bell socket which is nonweightbearing due to the metal tenon insert, and should never be an issue. Full-conservatory keywork including the left F, F resonance key, split D/D#, C# trill, low Bb and Bb vent, etc.  Comes in a good case with a very nice case cover—likely Altieri or Cavallaro, though it is unmarked.  A great, French-made oboe for your advanced student, or as a backup to your main instrument!
