Sigma GCS-6 1976-1977 - Natural

Very good mid-1970's SIGMA GCS-6 acoustic guitar made in Japan, with hard case included. Details and label indicate 1976-1977 with some possible minor alterations as noted below. Robust sound projection which works well for recording and sound hole pickup can be easily mounted. Frets show very little wear and clean edges. Neck shows a few small indents and scrapes. There are two small dings on the body including one smaller-than-eraser sized dent that shows bare wood. A new metal strap pin has been securely added where the neck meets the body for balanced strap position. Possibly had a previous strap pin at the heel of the neck which was removed and covered with a slightly different color of plastic material. End pin may also have been replaced. There are a few frets that sound a little dull and the instrument could benefit from a fret polishing and leveling. The truss rod is adjustable and in good working order. Front, sides and back retain a pleasing gloss and the fingerboard is clean rosewood. Comes with hardshell case. This is a comfortable playing instrument that would be great for an intermediate player or as a second guitar when you don't want to bring out your expensive collector's items. I am primarily playing bass and a little electric guitar, so time to move this one out. Will ship to lower 48 continental USA only, or free local pickup. I will consider all reasonable offers.
