Vintage 1964 Vox AC30 Treble 2×12 Guitar Valve Amplifier Combo w/ Pedal & Stands
Well, if you're looking for the perfect VOX AC30 - this is the one. I purchased this about 2 years ago from the family of the original owner, and it has been my house amplifier since then, barely played and lovingly looked after. I kept it because it's by far the coolest I've ever had in my 10+ years. It came from the same house since new, complete with the original egg pedal and even those rare custom ordered factory original wheeled stands to each side. This is something that is hardly ever seen, and makes transporting these beauties very easy.
The amplifier itself is late 1964 Vox AC30 Treble (T) version with the grey top from the 17000 serial range. Both the silver Celestion speakers are original to the amplifier and have the H1777 cones inside also. All three transformers work great and are original to the amplifier. There is a quad of period EL84 valves, and a nice original set of period pre-amp valves along with a Mullard GZ34.
This is definitely one heck of an amplifier, that is a brilliant example at that! You’ll not be disappointed. The amplifier part itself has recently been serviced by a UK leading amplifier tech and it plays great! Please check out the pictures below as these form part of the description.
