Late 1980s 500 watt Trace Elliot Series 6 concert system. This is the original high quality Trace Elliot, built prior to the company’s sale to Gibson.
The system is comprised of an AH 500 head with dual 250 watt power amps and 12 band graphic EQ, two 1518 cabinets (1x15 300 watts each) and two 1048 cabinets (4x10 300watts each).
This was used on a handful of gigs, perhaps only ten, and has spent the remainder of it’s life in a studio, then in climate controlled storage. There are almost no signs of wear. No bends or dents in the metal speaker grill, no tears dents or gouges in the tolex. Apart from a little dust and a two or three minor blemishes on the amp casing it looks like it did in the store in 1989. Everything is in perfect working order.
It’s heavy stuff, but it sounds like it too, very loud, clean and punchy, a really impressive and potent rig. It is not like a 500 watt class D amp, this is heavy duty, extremely powerful.
All pieces have their original covers, all original cables and manual included.
