Ampeg – Tom Hamilton’s Aerosmith, Custom B-15R Portaflex 100-Watt 1×15″ Fliptop Bass Combo (#7) – $5,430.00

We just received about 120 basses, guitars and amps from Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith. Tom is a founding member of Aerosmith. After 50 years in one of the hardest touring bands ever, he’s accumulated so much gear that’s he’s asked us to help put it in the hands of people who can love it as much as he has. This gear has made rock and roll history on the world’s largest stages and most intense studio scrutiny. Now it’s your turn to take it, and make your own rock history.

Tom Hamilton started playing Ampeg amps with Aerosmith in the earliest days of the band in the early 1970s and has continued using Ampeg gear through much of the bands 50 year history.

This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire part of Tom Hamilton’s custom six piece stage bass rig that pumped the bottom into Aerosmith 2007-2010.

The six piece rig was custom designed for Tom and included a total of three SVT 410s, two “Dummy” SVT 210s and a custom B-R15R Portaflex.

This custom made  Ampeg B-15R Portaflex Fliptop Bass Combo Amp was the heart and soul of the entire 6 piece rig. It can be see in the center of the top row of the rig.

Includes a COA signed by Tom Hamilton and is identified by an Aerosmith inventory tag.

The custom made heavy duty B-15 road case in the photos is available separately.
