For sale is a pair of DIYRE CP5s I built within the last couple of years. As you may know, these are by default an outstanding clean mic pre that imparts very little character to the source. However, the colour slot in both pres is occupied by the Mojo Maestro soft clip module. This module uses tried-and-true diode clipping to achieve soft clip saturation and compression. These modules have jumpers that allow you to select between 2nd and 3rd order harmonic distortion as well as glue or mojo, which activates an extra diode to increase the distortion. This yields a range of subtle saturation all the way to FX pedal-type distortion. I personally have both of these set to ASYM/GLUE which yields the gentlest character. This means that not only can they work on just about every source, but by having 2 I can send things like drum busses through them to get a nice compression that is way beyond what you'd think such a simple circuit can yield.
