Modified Realistic Cassette Recorder Player Custom Painted Circuit Bent Lofi Vintage includes free Tape Loop

Here we have a vintage Realistic cassette recorder that I have modified and custom painted with a splatter paint job. I added a wide range motor speed control that changes the tape playback speed effecting the pitch of whatever is being played. I serviced the recorder as well (cleaned the head, pinch roller, and replaced the belts as needed), and confirmed that everything else works properly. The pause button does not latch, but still pauses the tape when held down. It will run on a 6V center negative power supply (not included), or 4 C batteries. Audio output, and line in is 1/8th inch mono. The recorder also has a built-in mic that works. This player had melt marks on it from a cord being wrapped around it hence why I did the paint job, but there are still some marks on the bottom of the player.

Nearly all of the things I make are up-cycled, recycled or repurposed. Through circuit bending, modifying, etc I try to make new, and interesting creations out of things that might have ended up in a landfill. That being said most items will have the character of being previously owned and loved (dents, scuffs, scratches etc).
