About This Listing

Bought this new earlier this year for a project and it is no longer needed. This is a crazy sounding tube and neon gas filled lamp based module. It can scream, sputter, and make all kinds of noise. Really unique and very hard to find. Feed it any Eurorack sound source and create beautiful analog chaos.

Here is some information from the manufacturer:

Tube VCA/neon lamp distortion

The Voltage Controlled Annihilation module from Zerosum Inertia
is the next level in the universe of audio destruction and madness.
A high quality NOS 12AU6 pentode is selected for it's excellence in
audio amplification to drive a neon gas filled lamp.
The neon lamp sounds like your speakers are melting and will destroy your audio signal
in unique ways when fully cranked up. Very crude subharmonic synthesis.
When the neon lamp level is backed off a bit, the smooth creamy tube distortion of the 12AU6
shines through in a musically pleasant way.
CV of the tube gain is provided.
Hand wired, and hand placed through hole parts put together by a human.
Switchcraft jacks.
Jacks and potentiometers firmly bolted to the panel.
Reverse power protection diodes.
Socketed IC's.
Engraved panel.
PCB firmly attached to the panel with standoffs.
