Miraphone 1291 BBb Tuba 2000's

Here is a terrific playing Miraphone 1291 BBb tuba. This is the 4-valve version. It was ultrasonically cleaned last week and had a minor crease take out of the bell. Valves and slides are work beautifully, and tuba sounds great. This is a very easy-to-play tuba with excellent intonation. 18.5" bell and 36.5" tall. Includes hard case shown in photos.

The BBb tuba 1291 with a compact design is the piston equivalent to the Miraphone 191 rotary series. It is superb for large ensembles and big stages. Major concert halls are no match for the efficient sound projection of this compact 5/4 size tuba. In the lower range, the sound is extremely open and centered. The free-floating leadpipe supports the large, clear and focused sound with very good intonation.
