Excellent tonal quality. Holds tune very well. I believe I am second owner, as I purchased it in 10/93. Fretboard is super great, if you don't have calluses yet. Does need new strings. Lengthwise crack close to soundhole. Was there when I bought it. Doesn't affect tone
