Luthier Built Fender-Style 9-String Stratocaster Daphne Blue

This is a luthier handbuilt Strat with a string configuration we've never seen before. Unreal tones. The way it's configured, you get an octave up on the D&G strings, and the B strings in chorus. Can give you anything from 12-string voicings to sitar sounds depending on how you play it, and with some gain, it'll give you octave effects better than many pedals on the market. It holds up to leads beautifully, so the sky is really the limit as far as versatility goes.

The Roasted Maple neck has 22 frets and Modern C profile (pretty big, feels nice in hand) with a 9.5" radius. Bone nut with a 1.65" nut width. Dual acting truss rod with headstock adjust. Amazing fretwork on this thing, with rounded fret ends and hidden fret slots. Very comfortable satin oil finish on the neck makes for easy movement up and down the entire fingerboard.

The alder body has Fender Spec dimensions with a beautiful Daphne Blue poly finish. It's loaded with Alnico V single coil pickups & 250k pots. The hardware is all Wilkinson, with a full steel trem block, (drop in bar included) and custom added gotoh saddles for the G, B, & D strings. Single ply white guard still has the plastic on it. Weighs in at a very agreeable 8lb, 8oz.

This instrument will ship in the photographed used Freedom by SKB hard case. It obviously shows quite a bit more wear than the guitar, but it fits the guitar well and will ensure safety in shipment.
