I am selling my father's 1930 Martin 00-21 serial number 45399. I am 75 years old and not a guitarist. I play bass. I am also not a photographer as you can tell. I don't know how the pro's manage to do photographs without reflections.

This guitar sings! It has been played very little. My father actually used a 1950 Gibson J-50 Jumbo with electric pickup, so this guitar sat around mostly unused. There is some buckle rash on the back of the guitar as you can see in the photos. Original frets in excellent condition. Comes with the, I believe original, "chip" case. The bridge was replaced with an ebony one by a certified Martin repair shop. They noted it could possibly use a neck reset that would cost approximately $400. If you think it is necessary, you can have your own work performed. I have no use for a guitar of this caliber. I have an inexpensive Yamaha I use for plinkin'. There are excellent descriptions on reverb.com of what a 00-21 is. Rosewood, spruce, ebony, etc. I realize this is a valuable instrument, but I'm not looking to make a killing. Let's send it to a good home.
