The Altec Voice of the Theater line was unveiled in 1947, and ran through the '70s. When it came to sound systems for the silver screen, the VOTT lineup was the system. This model of the A7, specifically, the A7-500-8E with 511B sectoral horn, is a favorite of collectors, and demand for the originals spiked after the early aughts re-release. With undeniably original character, this pair is the perfect candidate for the type of custom restoration Aural HiFi is known for. We've got a few ideas, but we thought it would be fun to put you in the driver's seat. Them home as-is, or brainstorm your dream A7 with us.
