2003 Gibson thunderbird bass (off white) case included. Free shipping.
This is truly a ONE OF A KIND piece. This bass has a very unique story. It's NOT a custom shop bass. Check out the paperwork photos. This bass was pulled on and off the line during manufacturing. It has NO pick guard. It was pulled off before the cavity could be routed. The second time it was pulled was to avoid fret marker dot inlays. It has no fret markers. Next, the "opti grab" from the Blackbird (Nikki Sixx signature series) was put on it. Finally, instead of Gibson pickups, it has EMG actives wired as 18 volt (two 9v batteries).
It's a beautiful off white bass with all else blacked out. The tone is so monstrous with the two 9 volts. It is amazing sounding.
I had an insider at the Nashville factory do this for me and I got it as a collectors piece. Never played out. Never left the house. It's in perfect condition. No chips, no nicks, no scratches. I'm selling it because all it does is sit in the case. I look at it maybe once a year.
Case and paperwork included. You'll never find a bass like this EVER again. It is for a true Gibson fanatic. Grab it while you can. I've had offers back when I first got it for $10,000. So I'm pricing this very fair to move it quickly.
