B.C. Rich Mockingbird Exotic Classic 2006. - Koa

Up for sale we have a 2006 B.C. Rich Mockingbird Exotic Classic in Koa wood with non-original hardshell case. The guitar is in excellent used condition showing some light cosmetic wear, a few small dings and scuffs in the finish but structurally sound with no cracks or breaks. Overall a well taken care of instrument. The guitar features a 24.75" scale length, solid Koa wood body with Maple neck-through construction, bound Ebony fingerboard with pearl Cloud inlay fret markers, the original pickups were swapped out for a Dimarzio DP151 (PAF style hum bucker) in the neck and a Dimarzio DP100 (Super Distortion) in the bridge, each pickup has a dedicated volume control, master tone controls, 3-way pickup selector switch, Stop tailpiece bridge, chrome hardware and the original tuners were upgraded to deluxe Grover tuning machines. The medium sized neck features a comfortable C-shape profile that tapers a bit in width and depth as you make your way down towards the headstock from the upper registers. Thickness of the neck measures .80" deep at the first fret, .86" deep at the ninth fret and .92" deep at the twelfth fret. Width at the nut measures a full 1 11/16". The original jumbo frets are present and show only a little bit of play wear with tons of life left. The truss rod is accessible at the headstock, it turns smoothly in both directions and functions as it should. The neck is straight and plays great, notes ring clean and clear up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or buzzing. The guitar weighs in at 7 lbs. 7 oz. Overall an excellent playing instrument, feels like a quality guitar in the hands. Will be professionally packed with care. Thanks for looking.
