Yet another amazing old parlor dating to the late 1800's. This one is a Benary New York flat top parlor. How cool is this piece of history?!? The guitar features a spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back & sides, a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, ebony heel cap, and an ebony string through bridge. The plastic disc in the sound hole reads "Benary Celebrated Guitar." The neck has a distinct V profile, reminiscent of old American made parlors from this era. The guitar is very playable at the first five frets, and then starts to raise. It has a beautiful warm tone that's nice and full. At the lower bout, it measures 13.5" and 9.5" at the upper bout. There's a total of five small cracks that have been professionally repaired and sealed. Currently strung with silk & steels. Chip board case included!
