Offered here by Aurora Music Co. in DeKalb IL. is a 1985 Ibanez DT-155 Destroyer.

The DT155 is a Destroyer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1983. The DT155 features an Explorer-style basswood body with birch top and ivory binding mated to a bolt on maple neck with a 21-fret ebony fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a trio of Ibanez Super 70 humbucking pickups, The pickups are wired such that the 3-way toggle controls which of the outside pickups are active (neck/ both/ bridge) and volume for these pickups is controlled by a single control. The second volume control allows the center pickup to be blended in with any combination of the other two. A single tone covers all three pickups.

This particular example is in nice condition overall with a few bumps and scrapes as expected of an almost 40 year old guitar but plays great and always attracts attention. Take a look at the pictures as i have tried to include as many detail pics as possible. Please contact me with any questions or if you want any other pics you don’t see. Thanks!
