Tokai Stratocaster 80s Silver Star Black w/ Maple Fretboard, large headstock, vintage Japan strat

Beautiful Tokai Silver Star lawsuit era strat. Incredibly well built with one piece maple neck, large headstock and bulleted truss rod, believed to be manufactured in the early 80s. The body is free of any major nicks, just some light scratches and gouges as to be expected from a well enjoyed instrument of this vintage (see pics). Bottom side of the neck has some typical darkening (see pics). Comfortable C profile neck plays great with plenty of fret life. Excellent neck pocket fit free from any finish cracks. Volume, and tone pots are responsive as is the 5-way pickup selector. Jack is a little temperamental. If this guitar stays up for a while, I will replace it and update the listing; otherwise consider the guitar in need of a new jack. Excellent condition hardware on this guitar- responsive original tuners, bridge and saddle and even pick guard screws are virtually rust free, Made in Japan stamped tremolo block, the guitar even has its backplate which is somewhat rare for vintage strats over here. I've sold about a dozen vintage Tokai and Greco strats and this is definitely one of the nicest. Sale includes padded gig bag.
