Fender Stratocaster USA Highway 1 Blue Satin Nitro Vintage Noiseless Pups V6 Tone Preamp Med Natural Player Relic

This is a vintage 2002 American Fender Highway 1 Stratocaster with nice natural player ware to the finish and upgraded hardware and new electronics.

The body is made of Alder and has a transparent Blue satin nitro finish with 20 years of beauty marks and ware that a lot of people pay extra to replicate these days. The Chrome hardware is in very good condition and the tremolo has been upgraded with new FU Tone solid brass sustain block and stainless steel block saddles.

The new Mint Green pickguard assembly and matching tremolo cover are genuine Fender Deluxe Roadhouse featuring Vintage Noiseless pickups, a V6 rotary switch in the middle Tone position that is connected to a preamp that gives 6 different tone settings, standard Volume and Tone controls and an S1 push/push switch on the Volume knob to power on and off the V6 preamp.

A wide range of tones with the V6 rotary tone switch
This phenomenal Strat houses a hidden secret — a special V6 rotary tone switch and onboard preamp. This gives the Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Stratocaster a huge tonal palette to draw from. It offers six different settings ranging from wiry single-coil tones to searing leads. The V6 switch replaces the middle tone, so it's easy to switch on the fly. A built-in S-1 switch on the volume knob lets you bypass the V6 onboard preamp completely for pure, unadulterated Strat tones.

The neck is in good condition for it's age, showing typical scratches and marks throughout, and is Maple with Rosewood fretboard. It features 22 med frets, 9.5" fretboard radius, a new Graph Tech Tusq XL nut, modern C rear profile and clear satin nitro finish. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished and the neck is fitted with Fender brushed chrome locking tuners and original American Standard string trees.

The guitar weighs 8.0 lbs and is strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 10-46 gauge strings with the tremolo setup floating. It will ship UPS with a signature required for delivery.
