Hi. Selling my insanely loud 1970’s GT100 / GT120 #308.
It’s in good condition and has normal wear considering the age. The front panel has discolored a bit and is no longer a true white. There are scratches on the front panel as well. The back panel gone, there are a couple holes in the chassis, the biggest is directly in the back. I put a white plastic cover over it. At some point prior to me owning this head, a transformer was replaced with Mercury Magnetics. (if your looking at the rear of the head it’s the large black one on the right side). Some pots are scratchy (sometimes). It’s a great amp, does that OG matamp things real well.
Please remember this is a vintage amp with quirks. if you’re expecting a new quality amp you’re in for a hard reality check. If you’re familiar with vintage amps you’ll get it.
I had this amp serviced at Amp Guys back January of 2023. The bad caps where replaced the amp was cleaned and given new power Mullard Power tubes. Works well. I always use a power attenuator w/ my vintage amps. This amps has always been played at 117v while in my possession. Your experience may differ if you’re running at 120v or higher.
This shipping is set high but I don’t mess around when I ship amps. Usually double boxed with foam, and all protection needed. Tubes are removed, labeled, and safely secured inside the head.
All sales final, no returns, no exceptions. Sold As-Is due to age.
