We bought 6 of these, 2 or 3 were blown (still have them and I would let them go for shipping charges as they are too cool to throw away) and sold a couple here, for surprisingly big money. This one sounds great, I think it is a recone. The cone is marked 15L and has a written cone number on it, but is a thinner, light cone like the 2 that were straight. We have another with a small repaired tear in the surround going up soon as well, so have a pair. The folks that get excited over these told me they were Alnico magnets and they really loved these speakers. They do sound awesome! We cranked it up with a 20 watt tube head and sounded great.
