Approximately determined to be a 1967 Teisco model Daimaru vintage electric guitar that has a surprisingly straight neck, minimal fret wear, a low action, plays like a dream and tends to stay in tune well. The electronics (all original) are smooth and clean, including Vol/Vol/Tone. And the electronics were contact cleaned with no scratching and a solid clear tone. The strings are new StringJoy brand nickel electric 10/46s.
This guitar has been restored initially by replacing the original tuners (pictured here too and included with the sale of this gem) by modern locking tuners but with keeping the original ivory bushings instead of replacing those so that the vintage look is relatively unchanged. The bridge was refurbished with a new bottom piece with the top bridge itself is completely original. The entire guitar was cleaned, polished with a professional scratch remover and rust was completely removed from the original pick up, which is surprisingly clear and loud, considering that this guitar is over 50 years old!
If you want that vintage "Vibe" in a guitar that is very easy and fun to play, this is it! You won't be disappointed and, it only weighs 5.46 lb.
