This is an ES-5 copy imported by Subway guitars in Berkely, CA probably around 2000. It's the 17" Lowell or the 3 pickup Gene V. Spruce top, slightly figured maple sides and back. Nice players quality archtop that were billed as economy versions of expensive domestic offerings. Decent build but the fretwork isn't the best in the world. (fret ends are a little sharp and could use a little filing, as well as a setup. Sounds great with three P-90's. The finish at the peak of the neck scarf joint has cracked and flaked away a little but joint is very sound and it never bothered me while playing. Includes hard shell case. Open to reasonable offers of course.
