Taylor 516e Grand Symphony Fall Limited 2013 - Solid European Spruce UV Cured Polished Gloss Top

Played, lovingly, almost daily since I purchased it in 2013.. Has some dings here and there, but is still breathtaking. The wood is finally opening up and this guitar can sing and holds its tuning very well. I’d like this guitar to go to a player, offers from musicians will be considered first.

Description:
Rare figured mahogany topped with European spruce distinguishes Taylor’s 516E Fall Limited. Together the two woods blend power and warmth to create a rich and dynamic voice. Mahogany’s fundamental focus produces a strong, midrange-rich response, while European spruce delivers some of the warmth associated with cedar, along with  plenty of headroom, thanks in part to Adirondack spruce bracing. The uniqueness of mahogany and the color and movement of the European spruce inspired Taylor master builder Andy Powers to design a wood-rich appointment package, including rosewood binding with figured mahogany top edge trim, a rosette of figured mahogany and boxwood, and a new “Avian” fingerboard inlay in boxwood. Other premium features include Gotoh 510 gold tuners, a boxwood Taylor logo inlay in the headstock, and a new version of Taylor’s Expression System (NES) acoustic electronics.
