I live in Minnesota and double on electric and upright bass. I bought this so I wouldn’t have to lug my full size acoustic out in winter, but I’ve decided no more upright in winter at all. I got this right from the factory and had the action, pickups, etc set up as close to my acoustic upright as possible. They did a great job and this plays waaay smoother and easier than my acoustic upright. This is $4,300 brand new and has been played for only 3 months. I also have padded NS gig bag, heavier duty stand, and the single end pin with the stand attachment.
