In this listing is a FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA OLDS AMBASSADOR CORNET!
The Serial number is 858XXX. Which puts the serial number between 1973-1974 for the year of manufacture.
The horn functions as it should and all the valves and slides function well. The horn shows signs of its vintage, and there is scratching on the horn, some denting on the bell bow and the main tuning slide (doesn't affect the ability to move it), and elsewhere on the horn. The horn also has some red rot appearing in the leadpipe.
The Olds Ambassador is a favorite cornet among collectors, the horn has a warm tone and is a nice way to pick up an affordable and sweet playing cornet!
